“Dr. Davis intent as a practitioner is to partner and assist her clients toward their maximum wellness. Therefore, her practice is patient centered instead of diagnosis centered. Allopathic or traditional Western medicine is superb for certain conditions such as acute infections, surgical conditions, and specific interventions, however that form of treatment may not always address the best methods of management for chronic illnesses or conditions. Integrative medicine is a lens by which a practitioner examines the patient from their perspective, genetics, environmental influences, personality, hormonal influences and other components. Each patient is unique in this perspective.
Dr. Davis is a board certified internist and registered medical acupuncturist. She has worked in community, hospital and academic medical centers throughout her career. She continues to train in allopathic medicine as well as acupuncture, herbal and supplement therapy and integrative and functional medicine to develop effective tools for helping her patients.
Special protocols unique to this practice include: hormonal assessment, functional measurement of nutrients, metabolic typing, acupuncture treatment, reviewing allopathic regimens for supplement or dietary support, links to allopathic, integrative and alternative practitioners, visual contrast testing for allergies and immune disorders, mold allergy work up and treatment.”
